As Co Founding Director of MJS Consulting, Mark leads the project management division, overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion. His extensive technical knowledge, hands-on construction background, and ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and specialist contractors enable him to drive successful project outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Mark specialises in project planning, procurement, contract administration, risk management, programme control, and team leadership, bringing a practical and proactive approach to every commission. His focus is simple: to deliver exceptional projects with complete transparency, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.

James Buchan
Founding Director | Quantity Surveying & Commercial Advisory
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Construction Management (Quantity Surveying), James combines strong commercial expertise with practical construction knowledge, enabling him to provide clear, strategic advice throughout every stage of the development process. His experience spans projects ranging from private residences to complex multi-million-pound schemes, where cost certainty, discretion and exceptional attention to detail are paramount.
James works closely with private clients, family offices, developers, architects and design teams to protect client interests, manage risk and deliver commercially successful outcomes. His approach is built on transparency, professionalism and a commitment to achieving the highest standards of service for every client.
